Miss Me/Miss Me Not Daisy Bridging
Preparation: We made big white cardboard petals
for each girl, as well as a yellow center with a stem for the leader.
Leader sits on a stool, and the girls cluster around her.
Leader: Our Daisies have been a wonderful group to work with this year. Išve
asked each of our petals to say one thing about what we did. While I hope
that each girl will miss me a bit, my job is to prepare them to move on.
Please wait to clap until all our Daisy petals have crossed the bridge to
Brownies. Here are the petals of Troop ____
( I said She'll miss me or She'll miss me not and the girl's name. Each
girl said her line and threw her petal out into the audience, then crossed
the bridge.)

Leader: Now that all the petals have flown off the seed pod, the seeds of
Daisy Troop____ are turned over to our Service Unit Manager. Daisies seeds
are sown every year. We need a couple of new leaders for next year. If you
know a young girl headed to kindergarten this year, perhaps even your own,
who wants to be a Daisy, or if you are willing to be a troop leader, or can
suggest another mother to be a troop leader, please speak to (our Service
Unit Manager) after our ceremony. Thank you!
